Upgradable Staves? - Guild Wars Forums

I know staffs can be upgraded; How do I go about finding the parts to upgrade them with?

You can either salvage the upgrade parts from other weapons with an expert salvage kit (after IDing them to see if they have salvagable components), or you can stand around in any major city spamming: "WTB staff upgrades" in the trade channel. You'll know if a weapon has an upgrade component if it says something was "unlocked" when you ID it. Just to give fair warning, you won't ALWAYS get the upgrade part when you salvage it, even with an expert salvage kit. And don't bother IDing anything that's not at LEAST blue, preferably purple or yellow.
